Trauma
Trauma can be an intense emotional reaction to the experience of a tragic event like assault, various forms of violence, and natural disasters. Shock, flashbacks, nightmares, unpredictable emotions, strained relationships, and even physical symptoms can be related to trauma. Trauma is very treatable. I look forward to helping you.
Relationships
Different roles (parent, child, grandchild, employee, employer, friend, partner, step family roles, blended family roles, foster family roles, etc..) require different sets of communication skills; and can be difficult to balance. Individual identities and relationships are intertwined and impact each other. It is normal for communications that involve more than one person to create conflict and confusion. Notify me to help you sort it all out.
Parenting
Parenting can be a blessing and yet very difficult at the same time. Developmental milestones, behaviors, emotional responses, and delays in children can bring surprises that the child’s support systems may not be equipped to manage. You may have a question about what is normal or not normal for children. I am here to support you.
Crisis
